Asymmetrical Spinnaker Process
Fareast Sails spinnakers are fully customizable with your sailing style in mind. Spinnakers are radial cut for optimal performance. Each sail is assembled in an organized datasheet for you. You will then be able to review the chart and make changes. Once you approve the chart, we draw each sail and we provide you CAD drawing of your sail(s). You can again review and make changes. Once you approve the drawings, we cut your sail. The process is quite easy.
Asymmetrical Spinnaker Design
Our Spinnakers are made with premium sail cloth from Challenge and Contender sail cloth for both inshore and/or offshore applications. Our Asymmetrical Spinnaker Designs provide an excellent all-around performance sail. Asymmetrical designs consists of: A1 (VMG), A2, A3 A4, A5 designs. Asymmetrical luff is quite a bit longer than the leech, and the body of the sail has most of its shape about 35- to 40-percent aft from the luff with the back end relatively flat. The Short leech makes the sail easier to handle on all points of the sail.

- Spinnakers come with 4 color option standard (certain cloths have limited color choice)
- Spinnaker are 3 Step Zig Zag stitched with 4 points (triple stitched) standard
- Spinnaker Options Include: Socks (snuffers), Retrieval System, Turtle Bag, Soft Clew, Numbers, and Colored Logo designs – please ask about our blue water finish for ocean passages
- Sails are Full Radial Design Standard
- Spinnaker nylon comes in a number of weights including 0.75oz, 1.5 oz, 2.2, 3oz, etc.
- Spinnakers can be design for Sock (snuffers) or top down furlers
- Optional Self Furling Spinnaker available (with out torque rope)

- Challenge Sail Cloth: Fibermax (.75 oz and 1.5oz) , Elite Racing Nylon
- Contender Sail Cloth: Maxlite (1.5oz), Nylite (.90oz), Superlite, Superkote, Stormlite, Maxikote
